On Quaid's 146th birthday, the president and prime minister encourage the nation to uphold his vision.
ISLAMABAD: The nation was urged on Sunday by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Dr. Arif Alvi to respect Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's vision for Pakistan and adhere to his values in order to secure the development and prosperity of the nation.
The premier stated that the entire country is commemorating with patriotic fervour and passion on the occasion of Quaid's 146th birth anniversary.
According to him, Pakistan's founding father "valiantly fought the constitutional and political war" for Muslims' rights on the Indian subcontinent; as a result, they are now free to live their lives as they like.
Shehbaz claimed that Quaid-e-Azam opposed the notion of a majority usurping the rights of minorities due to numerical supremacy and that Jinnah had worked for the equality of all people.
